weak shower broken wifi

the breakfast had plenty of choices and a perfect view of the sea.

the room was tired and in need of a massive update. the shower pressure was so weak, and the wifi didn't worked , so annoying.

Fantastic Staff and Sea Views

The staff were AMAZING, and the service I received was first class. Cassie at the front desk sorted out everything I needed. She arranged an additional night at a nearby hotel due to a train strike. The sea view from my superior double room was WONDERFUL.

The building looks a bit worn from the outside.

The hotel offers access to spa facilities in the Carlton hotel next door, though changing rooms are small with one shower. There is also an indoor swimming pool available, but the sauna and jacuzzi were out of order .

The breakfast buffet offered plenty of choice, and the food was delicious!!! The waiter guided people to their tables. The staff are very nice, especially with coffee orders.

Staff on check-in were very friendly, helpful, and professional. They allowed an early check-in. Cassie at the front desk was helpful, arranged accommodations and providing information. I experienced a very warm welcome.

This hotel has a great location overlooking the sea, and it is nice to look out and hear the waves at night. The hotel is perfectly situated for beach access and sea views. Most places are walkable, and the bus service is good.

We liked the breakfast. There was a lot of choice. The food was cooked perfectly, especially scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. I liked the summer fireworks on the seashore that happen every Friday night. We had a good view from the balcony. The location is right on the seafront, and the bed was very comfortable.

The room had no hot water at all.

The hotel offers access to a spa in the adjacent building, including an indoor swimming POOL. Some facilities were out of order. The sauna and jacuzzi were not working , so I wasn't able to experience all of the amenities.

The staff were VERY helpful and friendly. The receptionist was primarily interested in exchanging housekeeping services for free drinks at the bar. The staff working in the Carlton hotel next door were friendly and happy to assist.

The location allowed easy access to the beach and town. I did not need my car. Food was served in a nearby restaurant. It was useful to have access to the facilities there. I appreciated the proximity to the beach. The location made it very convenient.

I found that parking incurred a daily charge. I had not expected the cost to be so high.
